Meet Our New Guest Hosts, Anna and Stephanie

We’re delighted to announce that Anna Frost and Stephanie Howe will be filling in as guest co-hosts, here on Trail Runner Nation.

You might think we are psyched about having Anna and Stephanie filling in for us, because they are impressive elite-level trail runners with a long list of big-time accomplishments. Anna, for example, has been atop the podium at races from Hardrock in Colorado to Transvulcania in the Canary Islands, and many in between. She has also won the overall title in the Skyrunning World Championships.

Stephanie, for her part, has won the 100-mile Western States Endurance Run, California’s highly competitive Lake Sonoma 50-miler, and has had top finishes at races around the world, including the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc. A two-time All-American in college, she has a PhD in Nutrition and Exercise Science.

Those accomplishments are pretty impressive. But there are plenty of trail running podcast hosts with big resumes. In our mind, Trail Runner Nation is about more than your last win. And that’s exactly why we are particularly delighted that Anna and Stephanie are joining us as guest hosts– because each of them is a truly impressive human being. They are thoughtful, smart, insightful, and caring. And we think those qualities will make for wonderful guest co-hosts, exploring the world of trail running and sharing it with you, our loyal listeners. Tune in as they interview some of the top trail runners in the world… and some fascinating lesser-known folks as well.

We’ll be listening– and we hope you will, too.
