The New Balance Windblocker Jacket is a great addition to your cold running gear. It is remarkably thin, yet completely windproof and, as far as I have seen, water resistant. It is VERY warm…almost too warm for the climate that I run in (lows in the mid 30 degrees – Fahrenheit). I have not found any reason to use more than a single layer underneath; frankly, there might not be room for more than a single layer. The jacket does have moisture-wicking properties that kept me dry and warm. I love the overall fit of the jacket. It seems to hug your body rather than just hang.
