I have run in the Salomon XA Wind Stoper Softshell Tights in 20 degree with snow and 40 degree high wind conditions. Very effective at insulating your legs from wind. My favorite characteristic, the material on the inside of the tight is made of many different “types”. The material used for the waist, groin, quadriceps and lower legs are all unique. The materials seem to become part of your own skin yet breathable. I vote YES. Glad I have them. If your going to go out in the elements and stay comfortable you have to have the right gear.
