Nation Member, Craig Nagels, has started a new race near Inverness, Nova Scotia in memory of his mother, Linda, who lost her battle to ovarian cancer. Craig has run many marathons and shorter distance runs but wants to run further – in memory of his mother. He couldn’t find a local race, so he and his wife decided to host their own. <THAT IS SO ULTRA!> This will be Craig’s first Ultra marathon.
The LOU 52 (Linda’s Ovarian Ultra 52 KM Trail Race) is a 52 km race and limited to 52 entrants and held on August 24, 2013.
Finishers will receive a medal and a piece of Linda Nagel’s secret chocolate cake!
