An interesting podcast about the book unbreakable runner. I definitely think a lot of runners would be better off with less miles and adding strength training. However also realize that crossfit does a good job of injuring a significant number of people who follow it. The paleo diet is not the end all be all thing to make everybody the greatest endurance athlete. The tarahumara eat plenty of grains and legumes and would smoke most people long distance. Scott jurek is a vegan who eats his share of grains and would kick the author of this books butt any day.
I listened to your podcast and it seemed very positive. Heard you saying you’d give it a try. Any follow up on this training concept? Thx
